 ============================= DTV OFFER ==========================================

 There is indeed a change happened on your account. It was from your account plan wherein your Unlimited Choice plan rate increased by $10 because you are already on a grandfathered plan and the reason behind the update is because maintaining the retired plans takes up more operational expenses for them to still exist because they are no longer the main plan AT&T has.

   I know this is not the best time but I just wanna make sure that you don't miss our latest  Directv Now app with Free HBO.  It works just like Hulu and Netflix with over 25000 movies and series,  It has the addition of Live TV so you can get 40 live channels including local channels and regional sport packages for $50/mo. If you sign up, I can give you $20 discount for the first 3 months.

Hello! My name is Juan.  Please give me a moment to review your request

It is actually from your account plan and I noticed that you have a grandfathered plan. Regaring this plan, we had a system upgrade which rolled up to our customers who are still on the Grandfathered / Retired Mobile Share plans wherein the data allowance gets doubled for an increase of $10

actually this just happened because AT&T will start to rollout the fastest network we call 5G Evolution (from 4G/LTE to 5GB Network) high speed data that will surely make things 2x faster thus consume data faster on y your phones. This is to prevent any possible overages.

 I understand your concern about the additional cost and I agree that you do not use that much data. I can get you back to the previous plan but as this is a system initiated update, your plan will be then again grandfathered and will automatically be changed back to the new plan.This will only cause you prorated charges on your next bill.

I indeed see that your plan was changed from your previous cycle on . The reason behind the update is because maintaining the retired plans takes up more operational expenses for them to still exist because they are no longer the main plan AT&T has.

And this type of plans would need more work to maintain, so the towers and systems are now concentrated with the new plans we have. The rate needs an extra expense in order to cope up with the system updates,  but AT&T didn't just add the extra charge to keep your plan retained to your account, they doubled your data allowance as benefit as well.

This is actually a standard procedures for customers who are still on the Retired Mobile Share Value Plans. You have __GB and we made it ___ MB. And instead of charging $15 per GB, we give all the _GB for only $5/$10.

Thank you for sharing that. While we are no longer allowed to change you back to the old plan, we want to share that this new plan is incredibly cheaper and cost effective, this is simply our way to anticipate future changes on your usages as this is already common nowadays. Afterall, AT&T will start to rollout the fastest network we call 5G Evolution that will surely make things 2x faster thus consume data faster on y your phones. This is to prevent any possible overages.

 I see that your were affected by the double the data plan update and this happened to our customers that are still on a grandfathered plan which means the plan you have is no longer available in the system.

You have a Mobile Share Value plan and it got updated to what we called double the data for an increase of $5. From GB to GB. The reason behind the update is because maintaining the retired plans takes up more operational expenses for them to still exist because they are no longer the main plan AT&T has.
